Cato Poll has won awards at the Devon County Show 2019 for its pedigree cattle.
Cato 1 Plutarch won Reserve Breed Champion Male. He is 100% Cato Breeding, sired by Cato 1 Lexington and Cato 1 Ella 442.
Winner of the Reserve Breed Champion Female was Cato 1 Maisie 647, fathered by Dendor 1 Napoleon.
“These awards are very significant to us,” said Jonathan Moorhouse, owner of the Cato Poll Herd. “Both of these cattle are completely home bred and it is the first time we have shown animals at the Devon County Show, having been associated with it for many years. It is nice to come away with some success from this very well organised and enjoyable show and very pleasing to gain recognition for the hard work we put into our herd.”
